Terms & Conditions
Term Dates:
Jumping Juniors run sessions during term time throughout the year. There will be certain weeks during the year that Jumping Juniors will be closed due to staff holiday, you will be notified of these dates before the start of the term. If a session is cancelled due to staff illness we will endeavour to inform you as soon as possible and try to offer an alternative session or a refund.
Changes to class times:
If a class becomes too small to function Jumping Juniors may need to merge it with another. We will do our best to keep times as similar as possible but cannot always guarantee this. We will give you as much notice in the event of any changes.
Payments:
Fees are to be paid at the beginning of each term, terms are usually between 5-7 weeks in length. class cost around £5.50 per session plus a small admin fee.
Refunds:
Unfortunately no refund will be given if you wish to cancel or cannot attend classes within the period assigned when you booked. If a class is cancelled by Jumping Juniors either an alternative class or a refund for that class will be offered. If you are unable to attend a due to illness then you may catch up by attending another session within that same week.
Valuables and Jewellery:
All property left in the venue is at your own risk. Jumping Juniors does not except any responsibility for the loss or damage of any personal possessions. Adults and children are required to remove any jewellery prior to class.
Class Attire:
Children need to attend classes in clothes that allow movement (shorts and T-shirts or something similar). Please avoid bringing children in dresses/skirts, jeans and clothing with hoods, fastening such as zips and metal buttons etc. Socks can be worn but bare feet or grippy socks are recommended to help children have maximum grip on the floor and equipment. Adults are requested to remove their shoes and to wear loose and comfortable clothing that they can easily move in.
Hair longer than shoulder length must be tied back at all times. Please refrain from allowing children to wear Alice bands in the gym.
Gym Rules:
For all parent and child classes a supervising adult must be present. You are responsible for the safe supervision of any children you bring to the gym at all times. They should be under direct supervision and not be left unattended at any time.
Do not enter the gym area or allow your children to play on the equipment until your instructor invites you to do so.
When entering the gym please remove your shoes before entering the matted area.
Please try to be punctual to classes in order not to miss the warm up section.
Please ensure children do not try and move any equipment that has been laid out for the session as this may cause injury to themselves or another member of the class.
Classes can be very physical for both children and adults. Adults will be required to assist children (lifting) during parent and child classes, please ask a member of coaching staff if you need assistance.
Both large apparatus and hand equipment is cleaned on a regular basis. However, for hygiene reasons please discourage babies from putting toys and equipment into their mouths.
No food, drink or outdoor footwear is allowed in the gym matted area.
Please ensure buggies are placed away from any main exits. Baby car seats are permitted at the side of the gym area.
All gangways must be left clear of obstructions.
Parents are advised that the use of the mini trampolines in the gym are for children under 5 only and to be used one child at a time. - PLEASE SUPERVISE YOUR CHILD WHILST ON THIS PIECE OF EQUIPMENT
We advise parents to take extra care in the session if they pregnant or have any injuries.
We ask you to agree to inform us of any changes to your personal information (e.g. address, telephone number etc).
Medical Conditions:
You will be asked for any existing medical conditions for anyone attending classes. For some conditions a doctor’s note may be required before commencing classes.
You agree to inform us of any changes, including pregnancy, as soon as you are aware of them. All information will be kept strictly confidential.
Video and Photography:
Family members and friends may take photographs or video footage, Jumping Juniors just ask that everyone remains sensitive to the feelings of others in the class and stops filming if requested. In all cases the decision of the Jumping Juniors staff is final.
Exclusion of Liability:
In the absence of any proven negligence, lack of due diligence or breach of duty by Jumping Juniors, the participation of you or who you have placed the care of your child to for the purposes of attending Jumping Juniors classes is done so entirely at your and their own risk.
Complaints and Grievances:
All complaints must be made in writing to Verity Tapp. Complaints will be dealt with within 7 working days of receipt of the complaint.
